“Bahrain: Your Gateway to the Middle East” Business Forum Successfully Held

On Oct. 25th, “Bahrain: Your Gateway to the Middle East” Business Forum organized by CODA and EDB, was successfully held in Beijing. Minister of Industry & Commerce H.E. Abdulla Fakhro, Bahrain Ambassador to China H.E. Dr. Mohamed Shaikho, Second Vice-Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry H.E. Mohamed Alkoheji, and CODA’s President Mr. He Zhenwei, attended the event and delivered speeches. The symposium was presided over by Secretary General Mr. Jiang Yun.

Mr. Ali Al Mudaifa, Chief of Business Development at Bahrain Economic Development Board, made a presentation on the business environment in Bahrain. Mr. Jeffrey Goh, Group CEO Gulf Air Group Holding, released information on the opening of direct air services between Bahrain and China. More than 200 enterprises from different sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, ICT, infrastructure, electricity and new energy participated in the event and B2B meetings.
