On November 6, 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will organize a series of Russian-Chinese business events within the framework of China International Import Expo.

The business program will be opened by the Plenary session on the topic of interregional cooperation between Russia and China. It will be attended by the leaders of the Russian and Chinese regions and municipalities, development institutions and associations, leading investment, technology, transport and logistics companies.

The discussion will focus on topical aspects of Russian-Chinese cooperation: the development of financial, transport and technological infrastructure, the expansion of non-resource trade, as well as increasing interaction in new areas such as small and medium business, innovation, digital economy and others.

Another event of the business program will be a session dedicated to the promotion of the tourism potential of Russia. The discussion will be attended by the Ministers of tourism of the Russian regions, heads of the largest Russian and Chinese tourism operators and tourism infrastructure.

At the business program of the Exhibition Russian Federation will be represented by the Krasnoyarsk region, the Republic of Buryatia and the Udmurt Republic, the Ryazan, Sverdlovsk, Kaluga, Omsk and Leningrad regions.The events will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, JSC "Russian Export Center" (REC), the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rosturizm), the Trade Mission of Russia in China, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

From November 5 to November 10, 2018, the First China International Import Expo (CIIE), the largest import exhibition of China, will be held in Shanghai.

The Russian Federation will take part in the event as a guest of honor. Comprehensive preparation of the country's participation in the Exhibition is conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and JSC "Russian Export Center" (REC).

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will present a national exposition demonstrating the country's industrial, commercial and investment potential, as well as promising Russian-Chinese projects at the Exhibition. REC will form the expositions of the Russian export enterprises.
