On the morning of August 6, Deputy Secretary-General Wang Kewen organized 5 enterprises to visit Ganquanpu Economic and Technological Development Zone in Urumqi for investigation and research.

Ganquanpu Economic Development Zone was established in September 2012 with the approval of the State Council. It is the industrial park with the largest construction land area in Urumqi and is extremely suitable for development, has initially formed silicon-based, aluminum-based, carbon-based, bio-based, chemical new materials and new energy industry clusters, is also the main position of Xinjiang's new industrialization and a strategic emerging industry base in Urumqi.
