He Zhenwei attend the Inauguration Ceremony of the Ethiopian Embassy’s New Chanc

In the afternoon of May 25, the Ethiopian Embassy in China held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Ethiopian Embassy’s New Chancery and Residence Building. Chinese State Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Qin Gang, Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Demeke attended and delivered speeches, and President He Zhenwei was invited to attend the ceremony and exchange with diplomats of African embassies in China.

Qin Gang expressed his congratulations on the inauguration of the new Embassy of Ethiopia in China. Ethiopia is a comprehensive strategic partner of China. Over the years, China and Ethiopia have been  developing hand in hand. China is willing to work with the Ethiopian side to deepen pragmatic cooperation in multiple fields, take the implementation of the important consensus between the leaders of the two countries as a leader, continue to provide firm support to each other on issues related to each other's core interests and major concerns, and promote the continuous development of relations between the two countries.

In his speech, Mr. Demek said that Ethiopia and China have a long-standing and profound friendship, and the pragmatic cooperation between Ethiopia and China has brought tangible benefits to the people of both countries, creating a model of “South-South cooperation”.
