H.E. Mr. Mbelwa Kairuke will attend the 13th COIFAIR

Recently, the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in China informed CODA in writing that H.E. Mr. Mbelwa Kairuke will attend the 13th China Overseas Investment Fair and is willing to make full use of this opportunity to promote Tanzania's investment environment, introduce investment policies and welcome Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in Tanzania.

Tanzania is located in the eastern part of Africa, south of the equator and east of the Indian Ocean, and is the shining pearl of the East African continent. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Tanzania, the two sides have walked together for more than half a century of friendship and cooperation, and have made unremitting efforts for the happiness of the two peoples and the promotion of win-win situation.

Agriculture, mining, tourism and fishery are the advantageous industries of Tanzania, which have great investment potential and development opportunities. As the third largest economy in East Africa, Tanzania has a superior geographical location, rich natural resources and preferential investment policies, and China and Tanzania have been broadening cooperation paths in infrastructure, mineral development and clean energy, etc. In 2022, Tanzania President H.E. Mrs. Samia Suluhu Hassan visited China, and China and Tanzania issued a joint statement on the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership. Under the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and the “Belt and Road” cooperation, Sino-Tanzanian relations have been moving steadily and with new vitality.
