中海协与会员单位拜会马尔代夫驻华大使

  8月25日下午，王克文副秘书长会同会员单位佰才邦技术股份有限公司（简称“佰才邦”）拜会马尔代夫共和国驻华大使馆，与法泽尔·纳吉布（Dr. Fazeel Najeeb）大使就有关中马通讯技术领域合作进行交流探讨。

  王克文讲到，中海协高度重视与马方的合作，积极响应大使此前提出的合作期望，此次专门组织对马尔代夫市场有投资与合作意向的会员单位前来拜访，进一步对接需求、探讨合作路径。她还邀请纳吉布大使出席9月17日由我会主办、佰才邦承办的“扬帆起航：全球连接发展论坛”，期待通过此类务实平台，共同推动中马经贸合作向更宽领域、更深层次迈进。
  佰才邦高级副总裁、联合创始人兼海外市场部总经理白炜详细介绍了佰才邦在通信领域的整体解决方案与技术优势，重点分享了公司在海外市场推动快速、低成本网络覆盖的成功实践，并基于马尔代夫群岛分布广泛、海洋经济特色突出等特点，提出了适配马尔代夫国情的通信基础设施提升方案，旨在助力其数字化进程和区域互联互通。
  法泽尔·纳吉布大使认真听取了方案介绍，并就技术细节、合作模式及实施路径等进行了深入交流，对佰才邦提出的方案高度认可，并对中海协在推动中马经贸合作中所发挥的桥梁作用表示赞赏。希望与中海协及其会员单位一道，共同推动两国在通信、数字经济等领域的务实合作走深走实。

  On the afternoon of August 25, Ms. Wang Kewen, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Overseas Development Association (CODA), along with representatives from member enterprise Baicells Technologies Co., Ltd. ("Baicells"), visited the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in China. They held discussions with H.E. Dr. Fazeel Najeeb, Ambassador of Maldives to China, on potential cooperation in the field of communications technology between China and Maldives. 
 
Ms. Wang expressed CODA’s strong commitment to enhancing collaboration with Maldives and responded positively to the Ambassador’s earlier expectations for cooperation. She emphasized that this visit was specifically organized to bring together member enterprises interested in investing and partnering in Maldives, with the aim of aligning needs and exploring pathways for cooperation. She also invited Ambassador Najeeb to attend the "Setting Sail: Global Connectivity Development Forum" on September 17, hosted by CODA and organized by Baicells, hoping that this practical platform would further promote economic and trade relations between China and Maldives across broader and deeper dimensions. 
 
Mr. Bai Wei, SVP & Co-Founder, GM Int’l Market Div. of Baicells, detailed the company’s comprehensive communication solutions and technological strengths. He highlighted Baicells’ successful experience in deploying rapid, low-cost network coverage in overseas markets and proposed a tailored communication infrastructure enhancement plan suited to Maldives’ unique geographical characteristics, including its widespread islands and ocean-based economy. The plan aims to support the country’s digital transformation and regional connectivity. 
 
Ambassador Najeeb listened attentively to the presentation and engaged in in-depth discussions on technical details, cooperation models, and implementation pathways. He highly appreciated the proposed plan and commended CODA’s role as a bridge in advancing China-Maldives economic and trade cooperation. He expressed his hope to work closely with CODA and its member enterprises to deepen practical collaboration in communications, digital economy, and other related fields. 
 
Relevant officials from the Embassy of Maldives in China and representatives from CODA’s Department II participated in the exchange.
