Letter of Invitation for the US Investment Policy and Practice Workshop

To better understand the latest trends of Chinese direct investment to the US and relevant regulations, regimes and challenges during the investment process, China Industrial Overseas Development and Planning Association will hold the US Investment Policy and Practice Workshop jointly with Covington & Burling LLP on16 May at Kempinski Hotel Beijing. Covington & Burling LLP has played a vital role in several Chinese acquisitions that required the approval of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S (CFIUS), including the Nexen project and the Wanxiang project. Covington knows what conditions are required for a successful investment in the US and will share such experiences with the attendees at the workshop.
